What it is for

How it is calculated
Course percentage = sum(score × weight) / sum(weights). Scores use 0–100; weights are normalized when their positive total differs from 100%.
Assumptions
Inputs are finite numbers in the requested format and do not mix incompatible units.
Example
Scores 90, 80 and 100 with weights 30, 30 and 40 give a weighted grade of 91%. This uses percentage weights, not GPA credits.
Limitations
Round only at the end when precision matters, and independently check results used for work, study, or important decisions.
